- Reflect on the experience of learning how to use Audacity for audio editing. How would you feel about helping someone else learn how to use it? What did you find most interesting? What did you find most frustrating? What questions do you still have, and what parts of the tool do you want to explore more deeply?
Doing the basics with Audacity felt good, I’ve used the program before so it was good to have a refresher course on the software. It feels in many ways similar to iMovie if you’re using it for just splicing tracks together and adding background tracks, but has a lot more depth to it that I haven’t really had the chance to explore. Honestly, I think sound design as a discipline is super interesting and I’d love to pick up some of the basics, just for use in personal creative projects and such.
